Japan Scientists unvelied Humanoid "Baby"



Recently, Japanese scientists have unleashed a humanoid baby robot. It is a humanoid robot that reacts to touch and sound in the way that a baby . Developers of this robot are hoping it will aid research into how humans grow. The saucer-eyed 1.3-meter-high robot "CB2" is fitted with about 200 sensors, miniature cameras and a microphone under a silicon skin.

In a demonstration at Osaka University, the air-powered robot developed by the Japan Science and Technology Agency rolled over, turned its face in the direction of a human voice and rapidly moved its eyes. The 33-kilogram humanoid can also form words as it is fitted with an artificial vocal cord.
